Wakro Biodiversity Walk Inspires Citizen Science Among Students

The Kamlang Tiger Reserve & Wildlife Sanctuary Division held the first-ever Wakro Biodiversity Walk to raise awareness about citizen science among school students. Participants recorded 56 butterfly species, 10 bird species, and 44 floral species using iNaturalist and eBird, contributing to a biodiversity atlas for Wakro and aiding long-term wildlife monitoring efforts.

State-Level Workshop on Child Mental Health Held in Itanagar

The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, in collaboration with NCPCR, organized a state-level workshop in Itanagar focused on addressing mental health needs in Child Care Institutions. Over 125 participants attended, aiming to enhance understanding and interventions for the well-being of children.
