Chief Minister Pema Khandu Hosts Manipur CM N. Biren Singh at Historic Urgyelling Gonpa

In a significant cultural and diplomatic gesture, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, welcomed the Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri N. Biren Singh, along with a delegation of ministers and MLAs, for an enriching visit to Urgyelling Gonpa, a revered site known as the birthplace of His Holiness the Sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso.

The visit was marked by moments of deep reflection and connection as the leaders explored the historic monastery, which stands as a testament to the spiritual and cultural richness of the region. Chief Minister Khandu expressed his honor in hosting CM N. Biren Singh and his team, emphasizing the importance of shared cultural heritage in strengthening bonds between states. “As we walked through this historic site and viewed the ancient tree planted by the Sixth Dalai Lama himself, we felt deeply connected to the essence of his teachings and the enduring strength of our shared cultural heritage,” said Khandu. CM N.
